Floaty Front End At High Speed?
I think what happens is just the amount of air going uder the car at speed "picks-up" on the front of the car and gives the "floaty" feeling you describe.
PS...NOT that we approve of these speeds on public highways!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Two cures for this are an opening at the back of the hood to allow the pressure to escape and the other is the aforementioned lowering of the car, if you go even faster there is more to deal with, but not too much more.
