I just put a set of those on my Formula a couple weeks ago. They stick MUCH better than the Goodyear F1's I had on previously. They definately aren't as sticky as the Nitto's I normally run, but they work well enough for the occasional stoplight race. I have ET Streets for race nights, anyways.

I had some KUMHOs, Goodyears, michelins, and now i have some called Vision i think, or something like that, they were cheap 115 a piece but they are made by michelin. I will get the name if someone wants it, but they have no cornering whats so ever, but in a straightline they feel almost like the ET streets i have. I shocked the hell out of me how good they grip.

I have the 712 Kumhos which are one grade below the MX series and about $30 cheaper per tire. They are acceptable in the rain but seem to aquaplane more than the OEMs that came on my 99 SS. It could be because I run the tires on the high side of air pressure.

I picked up my MX's at a local tire shop for $146 apiece, that's about half the price of the KD's and from some of the reviews on Tirerack.com, they perform just as well.

um...arcon, you may want to lower your pressure a little, cuz the rain is where everyone agrees that the 712 shines. I'm in FL, and it is by far the best tire I ahev driven in the rain. That wide channel really moves the water!
