Default Different torque specs for Hotchkis LCA's??

I just recently installed a set of hotchkis lower control arms on my 02 z28 and I followed the instructions that came with the lca's. It said to locktite and torque the lca bolts to 70ft/lbs. I did this and now see that the 02 manual has the stock lca bolts listed as torqued to 84 ft/lbs. Whats the deal? I really don't wanna have to tighten em up because then i'll have to reapply the loctite to all of em.

If you torqued the "nut" to 70 ft/lbs you're o.k., you use 84 ft/lbs when tightening the head of the "bolt" instead of the nut. There was a post sometime back over at the SLP forum about why the difference, it's too hard for me to explain but there is a difference when tightening ( torque ) the head of the bolt over the nut end.
