Home made Subframe Connectors and Strut Tower Brace Write-Up Anyone?!?

i can see how this can be home made, being i can bend the pipes on my own, . . but what is being used for the ends? and how do i tag em on? welded? bolted?? anyone who has done this care to do a write-up?? thanx a million!

for $150-200 you can buy them...............powder-coated? all you need to do is install them? why bother trying to make something that is readily available and inexpensive?

I built my own SFCs in my spare time. Although they came out nice, I would recommend just buying a set. You can get a set of UMI SFCs from Byunspeed for really cheap. Like already pointed out, they will also be power coated.
Also, if you would be doing the welding yourself it's an easy task. Look at a few cars that already have subframe connectors, and copy that. In my opinion, if someone has the competency to weld a set of sfc's, it should be easy to lay them out and fab them. Not trying to be rude by that comment either.
