Default Bad ABS sensor?

My original ABS sensor went bad from a dyno, after a week of the ABS light staying on even after clearing the code, and the ABS not working properly I took it to the dealership and they replaced the sensor.

The new sensor is overly sensative or something, sometimes when coming to a stop in a parking lot, going about 5 mph, the ABS kicks in and the low traction light comes on. This never happend with the old sensor, infact with the old sensor it used to fishtail when braking hard and ABS never kicked in.

Is this normal or is the sensor bad or what? And also is there anyway to turn the ABS off fairly easily? I miss playing in the rain without ABS kicking in <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Default Re: Bad ABS sensor?

Take it back to them & explain to them what it is doing. Have had that problem on other cars (no y or f bodies)It usually turned out the abs wheel speed sensor set back to far from the reluctor.
