Re: Which shocks TB on a Budget???
The SLP bilstiens are a little "softer" on the valving then the regular Bilstiens and seem to be a good street shock but a little soft for aggressive use. The tokico adjustable shocks are a great shock in the bang for the buck department (go to www.ground-control.com and they give some opinions of each of the shocks they carry with the listings)...they seem to work well on the street and many guys have had limited success on track days and some racing events with them. They're not Koni's....but they are pretty good. Good Luck.

I got a full set of bilsteins heavy duty shocks for $300 shipped from www.bimmerparts.com, they're more aggressive then SLP spec ones

QTP sells Comp Engineering 3 way adj shocks for $46 each. Fronts and rears. I don't think anyone has used them, I posted a message a few days back asking about them and no one had any response.

like to know what their "adjusts" do (is it
for the same things as regular adjustables,
or something different (drag racing related
rather than handling related), and so on.
