Default roll cage question, plz. u must respond!

One time, I seen an LS1 on horsepower television getting a new roll cage. I forgot the name of the cage, but once the cage reached the rear interior, the cage crossed and formed a visible "X" and they then mounted 2 nitrious bottles, one on one pipe of the "X" and one on the other, any one familiar with this cage or anything similar to this cage???

I guess nobody else has any ideas either, but I thought I'd drop you a line anyway.

The only Cages I can think of are either Autopower (bolt in), wolfe (and a few others...none of which have the bars you describe, at least as far as I can remember). The only option I can think of would be a custom weld in cage or a special order bolt in (not sure from who). I will mention that a roll cage near your head in a street car can be a dangerous thing, even roll bar padding is really designed for a helmet and is quite hard (imagine getting rear ended or t-boned and hitting you head on roll cage padding at 30 or so MPH). Not that cages are a bad idea, just be careful where and how you run the bars.

But anyway....I can't think of seeing anyone doing a cage like you describe (I'm sure it's out there...maybe someone else will jump in with ideas).

Good luck.
