Default Need help setting my pinion angle PLEASE!!

I have a BMR adjustable torque bar. I have tryed to set my pinion angle at -2 degrees, but everytime I move my pinion my driveline moves the opposite direction the same amount. The instructions I got with the BMR bar says that I need to have a -2 degree difference between the driveline and the pinion. So far I have adjusted the bar out where I have 3" of threads on either side of the adjusting nut. Right now I am at Positive 6 on the driveline and Negative 5 on the pinion. Does it matter which one I subtract from the other? Do I subtract the pinion angle from the driveline angle? If I have a +8 pinion angle and a +6 driveline angle and subtract the pinion angle from the driveline angle would that be a -2 pinion angle? I figure this has something to do with my car being lowered but I'm just not sure how the math works for my car. Please Help.
What am I doing wrong?

Bob
