STBs and SFCs will not effect the body roll. The benifit is mostly to keep the car from flexing. Flexing makes for the anoying squeaks and rattles. The diff in handling is minimal. I put mine on just to keep my car nicer and tighter longer.

If body roll is your primary concern get some larger sway bars. They are the single most influential part on body roll.

But, as has been said a million or so times on this forum, SHOCKS are the single most important part to change. I have only personally used the stockers and KONI SAs, but the difference is HUGE!! I personally would save for the KONIs. If I did another F-body it would be my first mod. Handling and road holding much improved, it rides way better, and it allowed me to lower the car w stock springs (WIN-WIN-WIN).
