Default SFC question

Is there that much of a strength difference between BMR's tubular SFC and their Boxed SFC? Also, is there any strength difference between one of these and another style like SLP's? I dont want to lose ground clearance so I can lower my car later on, but it looks like with SLP's you would lose that ground clearance.

I've got the SLP bolt ons and you can barely tell they're there Not sure about the other brands

I also have the SLP bolt ons.....don't know what Kens_02SS means by "can barely tell they're there " .....

I am very happy with them.....I can put a jack anywhere between the front and rear connection of the SFCs and as I lift, the entire side (front to rear) will lift flat (picks both tires up off the ground) . They really made the car stiff. I have since added a 6 point roll bar and the increase from nothing to subframes was 500 times more stiff than from subframes to subframes and roll bar.

As far as ground clearance, they are just a slight bit lower than my old exhaust system with a y pipe....now they are even with my x-pipe. The good thing is they take all the beatings that the exhaust would otherwise get. Whenever I go over speed bumps or up ramps (car is lowered), they "drag" but thats what they are there for....they keep everything else safe
