Default wheel hop

I just had a torque converter installed yesterday with a 3000 stall and a 2.0 STR. When I test drove it there was a lot of wheel hop from the left rear. Has anyone else ever expereinced this when they installed a torque converter, or any other parts? Happened in 1st and 2nd gear. Tires slipped a little because it is so cold out, but when it gripped the problem started.

If you ever experienced this problem, how did you correct it?

I have NOS on the car and have run it out of the hole without ever experiencing this problem. Before the torque converter was installed I did get on it, the tires broke loose, but didn't experience the problem above.

Thanks for your help.

Get some LCAs, they will help out a lot. it might be that your tires are really cold, my old tires did it whenever it was cold and i live in south Texas. is your car lowered? if so get relocating brackets for the LCAs. i dont think its the converter, BTW what kind is it?

Thanks for the feedback. The converter is a Midwest. I don't think it has anything to do with the converter, justthat I am transfering more power to the rear.

You might increase your rear spring rates, and get a bigger rear sway bar.
