someone with upgraded LT1 rotors/pads/lines chime in!!
Made a post last week ro something bout doing a LS1 brake conversion.. I found a front brake setup from one but to buy 2 sets of steel braided lines and get mismatched new rotors/pads it would cost quiet a bit how my braking be if i did this
duralast rotors all the way around..
hawk pads all the way around..
steel braided brake lines (Lt1) all the way around..
new fluid
also does anyone have a guide on bleeding the brake system for a LT1 setup?
Duralast Rotors ($68 for all 4)
Hawk HPS Pad's ($110 for all 4)
$178.. + another 100 or so if i go braided lines
$59 - $51 = $110 (most other places where $130)

You won't gain much if you stay with stock sized front rotors, I spent a lot of money on upgraded rotors and Hawk pads and still warped rotors constantly. Go with the LS1 set-up or if you want all new components you can get a C5 Corvette kit for $640 shipped. That is what I put them on mine and the difference is amazing, plus no more warped rotors.

allot of the cause behind warped rotors is the driver. our rotors do warp rather easily but it isnt a major problem if you brake properly, i know some times standing on the brakes is unaviodable, but i drive my car hard especialy on the twisting roads which requires allot of braking and ive only warped 1 set in the last 3 years.
yes you need new spindles, i would get the rotors checked for roundness and thin spots and the calipers should be fine as kind
