Re: Best street/strip tire on tread life and money? Best for the buck, buy a set of used ET Streets on 16 inch wheels- usually around 200-300 bucks.
Put em on when racing, otherwise you will only be wearing out a set of 300$ tires driving them around.

Re: Best street/strip tire on tread life and money? define street/strip? If the car is a daily drive I would get a set of BFGoodrich KWD's. I currently have a set and offer great dry and wet traction.
