I'm going to be changing out the brake pads and just want to know if you always turn the rotors when you change the pads?? By the way I have no indication of warping so I don't want to screw with them if I don't have to.
thanks

Agreed, the correct thing to do is to turn them. I used to work at an autoparts store taht also turned rotors and I'd say that 10-15% of our customers actually did that. If the surface is flat (no visible grooves, etc), you can get away with changing pads and letting them "break in" to the rotors. I don't really like to recommend this approach, but I have used it on occasion and never had any problems. It takes common sense...and if in doubt....turn them. Good luck!

Are you replacing the pads with stock or with something better than stock. If so I would get a better set of rotors just to stand up to the demands of the higher friction pads. Your stock rotors may not be warped now, but after a few good stops with good pads on you might have your wheels off next weekend changing rotors this time
