Default Wearever rotors, pads?

Curious if the wearever brand of brake rotors and pads are any good. They are priced at 40 bucks per rotor at advance auto parts, and dad gets a 20 percent discount. Anyone know if these are any good?

Default Re: Wearever rotors, pads?

Some guys on here swear by Autozone rotors...so that depends on who you ask (as far as rotors are concerned).

The pads are a budget replacement pad that may or may not even equal the performance of the stock pads from gm (which are $129.00 for the front set). If you just drive the car as basic transportation and don't run it all that hard, they will probably be fine....personally, I prefer something a little more aggressive (hawk street pads like the hawk hps or ebc greenstuff, etc). GOod luck.
