getting traction without drag radials
I have a 6speed and I know that I'm not a bad driver please help will subframes and boxed control arms make that big a differece.
FWIW, when my T/A was all stock on GS-C's, best it ran was 13.43. Went back with Nitto 555RII's on all four corners, and ran a 13.18. Went to another track the next day, and it was sticky! First pass out of the day netted a 12.97. The car was all stock except the tires, and dyno'd less than your car.
Moral is, a little practice and sticky tires will do more for your times than just about anything affordable you can bolt to the car.

When I did the 1.9 sixty ft., the car was totally stock- mods what-so-ever. I ran a 13.45@104 that day. The ET and MPH were bad because the track is 2000ft above sea level and it was in the high 80s that day.
My average on the Firestones were in the 1.95-2.05 range.
Some mods that might help-Torque Arm, LCAs and maybe relocation brackets. Removeing the front sway might help a smidge as would some adjustable shocks so you dial in less rebound in the front. I don't think sub frame connectors would help alot on street tires.
How do you launch? I slip the clutch off the line. Never could find the perfect rpm to dump the clutch-it would either spin a bit and bog or it would just spin real bad and playing with the throttle didn't seem to help much. I would rather spin just a bit than bog.
BTW, the air pressure in the Firehawks were generally in the 30-34 range-just play with it to figure out what works best.
Is ther anyway to hook up decently on street tires I have a 00 SS making 319hp to the wheels and have taken it to the track and the best 60ft I could get was 2.4 going 1/4 mile 13.7 at 106mph.I know friends that are making the same power that can dip into the 12's easily

I get absolutely no traction at all in my 99 Z28 1LE. I wouldn't even attempt to nail the throttle from a dead stop, for fear that I'd wind up, upside down. I mean that literally. I can't drive the car in the rain, it handles too squirrly (spin outs), and I'm not a bad driver, and I don't drive like a fool. I'm trying to work out the traction dilemma, before I start adding more power to the car.
