Default Rear control arm bushing question

I have a question about the rear control arm bushings. I currently have Spohn tubular LCA's with poly bushings. I'm contemplating of softening up my ride [crappy roads in my area riddled with potholes and patches]. If I got the 1LE bushings from the 1LE control arms, would they fit in the Spohn control arms? And would they actually soften up the ride any?

Would a rubber/poly combo be any good? And if I went with rubber/poly, which side of the control arm would the rubber bushings go, chassis or axle?

Do you still have your original LCA's? If so, pop the 1LE in there. By far, rubber/rubber is the best for noise. For handling, I didn't like rubber/poly at all but if you do try it the rubber end goes on the body, poly on the axle.

Yes, Your best bet is going to be the stockers 1le's.
