Default Question on Earls Stainless steel Lines....with pics.......please help!

Si I wanted to install the Stainless steel lines,....but when I took out the stock line from the caliper I notices that it has a lip,...and the caliper has a recess for the lip. Now the Earls stainless steel lines that I have don't have this lip. They are just flat.......so....I was worried that there won't be a tight seal between the two. PLease check out the 2 links for the pics of the stock lip and recess.

Here is brake line:

Here is the brake caliper:

Is there something I am missing?

there should be a copper washer on the line...maybe that's what you're looking at right there. Sometimes they have to be picked off bc they get smashed onto the line or caliper

That makes sens now. I thought it was lip on the brake line...

I think you are supposed to get new copper washers. If the kit didn't come with them, you should be able to get them from an auto parts store.
