Si I wanted to install the Stainless steel lines,....but when I took out the stock line from the caliper I notices that it has a lip,...and the caliper has a recess for the lip. Now the Earls stainless steel lines that I have don't have this lip. They are just flat.......so....I was worried that there won't be a tight seal between the two. PLease check out the 2 links for the pics of the stock lip and recess.
Here is brake line:

Is there something I am missing?

there should be a copper washer on the line...maybe that's what you're looking at right there. Sometimes they have to be picked off bc they get smashed onto the line or caliper
