ARP wheel studs
the factory wheel studs on the LS1s suck! I looked at my lugs (factory) and the engagment is only like 1/4". I am kind of one of those people that alway worrys when racing! Now the ARP studs from Thunder are 2.5 some one said that is still sock size but stronger. So does any one sell 3.5 ones! THANKS

Re: ARP wheel studs
I have the ARP studs and they are longer than stock. They stick out maybe 1/4 in past the lug nuts. They are 2.5in long. You don't want the 3.5in long wheel studs because they will stick out way past your lugs.

No I have CCW wheels that are 10" in the front ant I you a 1/4" to a 1/2" spacer to clear the big 6piston wilwoods! I would like at least a 1/2" longer stud.

The ARP studs will allow you to use your plastic chrome or black lug cover caps. GM does sell a longer stud - I think it is 3.5'' - they are inexpesive as well. However they do stick out quite a bit and you can't use your factory caps.

yeh ClassicCollector Do you no the part numbers or how to get the 3.5 from GM. I would rather have hardend ARP but I checked and them don't have them for the front and it is easyer to get the GM ones. Thanks
