Would I regret getting 1" drop springs?
I'm about to order lowering springs for my car and I'm torn between either a 1" or 2" drop. I hate the look of 17's w/ 40 series tires and the huge gap. I also dont want to go to low either as I scrape alot the way it is now (mostly the front duct thing).
Would 1" springs takeup the majority of the fender gap w/ 17's or should I get 2" springs?

I used to have a prokit, but now i have sportlines. I love how the sportlines look. they look MUCH better. My sig is my car with sportlines, but for some reason the rear of my car looks higher then usual.

If your car is a daily driver (like mine) I would strongly suggest keeping your stock springs and lowering your car 3/4" with Koni SA shocks in the front and replacing the spring isolator in the rear with heater hose
Thats what I'm running with 40 series tires and it looks perfect, not too low but just low enough

IMO, that looks best. Plus it doesn't affect clearance as much as the prokit.

Our car is lowered with Hotchkis 1" drop and Koni SA shocks. I think it looks a lot more even around the fender, The back end is a little lower on the tires though, but it looks good IMHO. My wife on the other hand is not a fan of lowered cars so it was a compromise I am very happy I made. I love the way the car looks and acts on the street!!

I like the 1" drop. Mine has the BMR, but the Hotchkis springs are as good or probably better,as their rate is a little softer I think.
Had Eibachs and it was closer to 1.8" drop.
Using the Koni's and stock springs to get a 3/4" drop would also be a good choice.

I gotta say thats a great point. My stupid y-pipe gives me crap for ground clearence - not even the height of a 12 oz soda can. I was thinking of fabbing up a new pipe but I dont want my car to scrape at all - this 3/4" drop might be great.

The driveway thing has also had me pleased. We already scraped our car on stock ride height, but with the driving habits already in place to angle the car, the 1" drop has not scraped more "yet", IMHO.
Go with what will please you though, so many times we make concessions and then form our regrets!
