Default ******Should i lower it???******

Iv'e got subframe connectors / Adj PHB / Adj LCA / and a tranny mount TA all from UMI Performance (great peices by the way). I also have the car on 11.5x17 and 10.5x17 CCW Classics. anyway im looking to get Koni SAs for my next mod, but i was wondering if i should also lower it. the car is a daily driver, and the 315 GSD3s on the back dont tuck into the fender wells. they stick out about a 1/2 inch or so, and i was worried about them hitting the rear fenders. anyone have a similar set-up and have you ever hit your rear fenders?? Seems like it would do alot of damage. should i lower it? or should i stick with the stock springs and get some swaybars instead?

Depends on where you live and what the roads are like really.

the roads here arn't the best, but my main concern isn't with low speed regular driving. i dont want to hit my fender with my tires in the middle of a high speed turn or anything... is this unheard of or is it possible??

The Koni's will give you 3/4 drop or so in the front, and the "hose mod" in the rear will yield about 1/2 or so with stock springs.

Exactly on the fronts use the lower spring perch and in the rear take about 18" of heater hose and slide it over the top coil on your rear spring and remove the rubber isolators. It will drop your car a little on stock springs and should handle really well.

We have 315's on the rear with Hotchkis 1" drop springs, and get a little rubbing if the car hits a big bump at "high" ( ) speed... Otherwise they are fine.

for me its not a matter of rolling the fenders. i dont think the tires would clear the rear fenders at all... they seem to stick out about a 1/4-1/2 an inch. its not noticable unless your looking right on top of the rear wheels.
