Default Brembo blanks OR SSBC kit???

im looking at doing my brakes. i am not sure which route i want to go? im looking at brembo blanks all around & hawk ceramic pads for around 420+shipping from tirerack.
also looking at going with the slotted SSBC brake kit w/ pads for 340.00 through summit. if i go with these, i will also be able to afford stainless braided brake lines.
which would you choose?

are there any problems with getting slotted rotors turned down? are the ssbc rotors of good quality compared to brembo's blank rotors?
