Is hardware kit for UMI non ad torque arm really needed?

Is hardware kit for UMI non ad torque arm really needed? I'm going to order a non ad. torque arm from umi and I was wondering if the stock bolts are actually too short and the umi bolt kit is actually needed.

Get the longer bolts. I used the stock bolts with my Spohn TA and they were just barely long enough...or not, since the nuts both fell off after a while. Now I have Spohn's longer bolts which come with nylon locknuts. Its easier to do it right the first time than to have to go under there twice.
