Default Suspension Squeak in Front of car...

My car squeaks terribly when i go over bumps in the front of the car. I searched on this and it didn't really return anything. The car has alot of miles on it and am wondering what it could be so I can fix it.

Thanks.

Does the car have poly sway bar bushings? That's probably it. If that's not it, then you may need new rubber a-arm bushings.

Will they look chew up or something? What is the best way to tell which bushings are the bad ones?

Default Trial and Error

Usually you can't tell any difference until you get them off, unless it's torn in which case you'd have metal to metal contact and it would be a banging instead of a squeak. Finding squeaks and rattles is an adventure so a lot of experimentation and trial and error is required.

Easiest thing to do is buy some good synthetic grease (I use ES Formula 5) and lube up the sway bar bushings that attach to the frame. If it doesn't go away then you'll have to look elsewhere.
