Try Brembo Blanks and Satified Grand Sport GS6 Ceramic pads. They work much better than Hawk HPS pads and they don't dust anywhere as much.

I just installed brembo slotted/hawk hps pads on the fronts. So far so good.

All this said I have the Hawk Performance Ceramic and they are very clean. They stop very well and I'd buy them again. Take a look at Hawk ceramic if you don't want dust.

Anyone else agree with Satified Grand Sport GS6 Ceramic pads being better than the hawk hps? dust less? perform better?

Even if the blanks are better, if I went slotted/drilled brembos would it be that much difference from blanks(if I used same pads). Also, whats with these rotoworks from ws6store, they seem to be cheap... any one have these?

I would like to get some feedback on the ws6store rotors as well. And would the D/S rotors work well with AC Delco OEM replacement pads?

Not true on both counts. The drilling disrupts the airflow though the internal vanes. You also loss both swept area for the pads to contact as well as mass to absorb heat. Add to that the fact for these cars drilled and slotted rotors are made from blanks and not specifically designed parts....

So let's review. You start slicing and dicing a by design blank. You loose swept area as well as mass, and this is somehow better for the braking ability of the car.

Nope.

We sell 3 pads with frequency. PBR's, Hawk HPS and Hawk HP+. Between them we pretty much cover all the bases. I also use Hawks and PBRs on my own car. YMMV

PBR are semi-metallic pads, made by the same folks who built your calipers (as well as those on C4-C6 Corvettes too). And the compound is the same basic one that came on the C4 HD brakes (the 13" ones). They just work well. Nothing super-duper earth shattering, and we don't claim them to be. Just a pad that is very, very similar to an HPS for less money. They just don't have a rear, so I still use HPS rears.
