Default Low Brake Pressure!!!! WTF??

This all started about two weeks ago. Everyday, It felt like I had to push the brake pedal just to make the car stop. Today something wierd happened. All of a sudden it felt like I didn't have any pressure. Now I have to push the pedal practically all the way down to make the car stop. The brake don't grab until the pedal is halfway. Also the Left front brakes squeak alot when I apply the breaks, and the wheel get a whole bunch of brake dust. What could be the problem?

I am going to have to bleed the brakes this weekend. I am pretty sure that is the problem, but wanted to see if anything else could be causing this.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, get a set of solo bleeders and flush that b!tch out.

Now if that doesn't fix it I'd start looking into a master cyl. Do all 4 brakes seem to work if even a little? I don't think you have a clogged line but anything is possible.

On my 92 Z28 I had a clogged line and the brakes were crazy. Pushing and pulling but that doesn't sound like your problem.

If the bleeding doesn't work, it is almost certainly the master cylinder.
