Default ABS INOP light on after k-member install, what did I miss?

Recently I put on a UMI k-member and now my ABS INOP light is staying lit. Also my ASR is off as soon as I start the car (usually I have to turn it off myself).

So what did I miss? Can someone point me in the right direction on what / where to look?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Double check your speed sensors at the front wheels. Maybe they're not plugged in?

Okay I just checked those and everything is plugged in as far as I can tell. Could the sensors have gone bad or got messed up in the install?

Thanks for the help,
Brian

See if you can get the code to figure out which side (or both) is causing the issue. Most common issues, in no real order:
unplugged connector
bad wheel speed sensor, I think only comes as an assembly
loose connection at connector
crimped/rubbed through harness on wheel or steering
broken wire INSIDE harness, a bitch to track down
bad ABS module, usually gives codes on both sides - but not always

Could I just use one of those code readers from Autozone? Or would I need to scan it with something else? The reason I ask, is I was under the impression the ones at Autozone only scan emissions codes from SES lights and such.
