torque arm help
PM me or reply here on how it goes for yea, since I also am about to do this.
From my understanding, I've always had the problem but I never noticed it. I wouldn't of noticed it because the stock torque arm was absorbing the shock. Now shock is transmitted to the chassis.
Permabuilt was telling me it's in the transmission gears since it clunks from the 1-2 clutches to the 3-4 clutches. I'm really not concerned about it anymore. It's more tolerable with the loose 3,200 converter.
Don't worry about it until you have the problem. Chances are your all good.
I'm having the same exact problem to the T.
It clunks when I shift a certain way, going over certain angled bumps, and hitting bumps at lower speeds. UMI Adjustable tunnel mounted torque arm. Hopefully the solution isn't just to live with it
