Default Help brake replacement problems

I just got a POwerslot rotor/HPS pad kit for the front from New Era and it seems like the pads are too big. They fit in the mounts ok, but when I go to put the caliper back on, the mounting ears hit the little threaded sleeves that the caliper is supposed to screw into. I have the pistons compressed al the way too. Help please.

things to check:
- is your rotor on flush
- did you use a wire brush to clean up the hub/studs when you took the rotor off
- did you use a few lug nuts (backwards) to secure the rotor tight to the hub while you mount the new pads/caliper

Did you check the slider pins to make sure they slide freely?
Remove, inspect, clean, regrease (with high-temp disk brake grease), and re-install as neccessary. Also check their rubber boots for damage and replace any that are damaged.
