subframa connector question

subframa connector question

I have noticed in the past that some sfc hang lower than others .I am looking for a pair that does not hang lower than the frame rail.Is this a option or where do I need to look?

the boxed ones hang lower, so get the tubular ones, im a fan of umi and a whole lot of others are too, bmr is good stuf as well

Hello,

Our tubular style tucks up very tight and can not be seen from the side of the vehicle, you have to actually get down on your knees to see them.

UMI all the way. Installed mine in 45 minutes. Fit perfect and tuck up tight.

Dpoes the carpet need to be removed in order to weld them or even bolt them in for that matter?

I have competition engineering SFC's and they are even with the frame, can't see them at all, although i still got the damn torque dimples.

Hi

2" square tube will fit perfectly up into that area and not hang down at all. The over the counter designs all seem to hange down. I assume it is to compensate for production tollerance.

You have to get them custom made. Its worth the extra cost. See photo. Don't get anything less then 2".
