what "modification" will be required for this kit?

You'll be cutting and flaring the stock lines...haven't installed mine yet, but the instructions detail everything that needs to be done.

Yep. If you pull the engine you can cut the hard lines againt the frame, and get rid of the braided ends. If the engine is still in the car, you cut and flare the ends of the braided lines and connect them up. Install went real easy. I thought bleeding was going to be a biatch cause MC and lines were dry, but maybe 15min and the whole system was done. Kit has good instructions.
