I can understand the need to save a couple dollars, but your not buying a simple, non mechanical item and have a retailer that cares when something goes wrong is worth the extra money in my book. And that's why I'm waiting to buy the KONI's from Sam when I have the money.

As has already been stated, some of these KONI's have had issues, epsecially older stock. I'd be a little upset if I did have problems and KONI then refused to help because I bought them from an unauthorized dealer.

Oh I definitely understand. That's why I thought I would throw the links out for everyone to have a looksie. You know how attractive price is and I thought it was worth mentioning.

You guys really don't know what you are doing. There is a saying: "The bitterness of poor service lingers long after the sweetness of a cheap price is forgotten". Koni knows about that company, and they have threatened to cut off the supplier to that company because of this pricing because it's in a clear violation of Koni corporate minimum advertised pricing. Uo to know they've been shady about it, and Koni couldn't prove it, but now here is in public for all to see (Koni included).

And still, where is the support? Not supporters of this site, and never anywhere to be found when information is needed. Where as I'm usually around and not hard to find.

It's just frustrating when you play by the rules, and people just long to break them. That puts me in a bad spot. I can't, because I hope to be here long after they are gone and won't burn my bridges with customers of vendors. Anyone remember Carparts.com? Super cheap, and had these gimmicks with online discounts to boot. Everyone flocked to them and many businesses suffered (mine included). Where are they now? Bankrupt, gone and of no help you you. It's the Wal-Martization of America. I urge you to look beyond the pricing alone to the service as well. And anyone can attest to the information I give, it's not just 1 minute of advice anyone can give....

I removed the non-sponsor links. Please guys, don't post that stuff on this site. Support the vendors who you know personally and keep this site FREE for you guys.

I've said it before ...

Many times the better VALUE is not the cheapest price.

If you toast a set of tires because ebay won't help you get those shocks properly adjusted, what kind of money have you really saved?

Exactly what I've said. I've even researched the price and when you look at the price Sam offers the KONI's at, he is extremely competitive and his service and reputation is what really matters.

When you're looking at making a $700+ investment, service and reliability matters.

Correct standard Hawk comes w/Decarbon shocks, options were Koni or Bilsteins.

Where is the cheapest place to buy 2 front Koni SA's 8241 1139? Is $519.99 shipped too much to pay?

That doesn't sound too far off. I paid $825 for all four, and I can't see the rears being much more than $150/ea. Call up Sam, his prices are competitive.
