Default Strano springs?

Who is running the Strano springs, and do you like them?
Did your track times improve?
How's the ride?
Would you buy them again?
Thanks.

Though I havent gotten any track time yet, I can feel the difference. Its all I expected from lowering spings and more because they're lighter than most springs.
Its rides great, I set the konis to my settings. Id buy the springs again.

Thanks, guys. One more question: can I use these springs with stock shocks for now?

you can't use these springs with stock shocks...the factory springs are too much for the factory shocks.

Why do people want to do the work 2 times? You really dont 'want to do or paid to have done the fronts 2 times just go ahead and get shocks!

Can you use them? Can you install them on the car? Will they lower the car? Yes to all three.

Should you use stock shocks with them (or any lowering spring for that matter)? No. Shocks are spring dampers. I'm not sure why folks tend to think that when the spring rate climbs and the effective travel of the shock is shortened that the damping would not have to go up to compensate. Especially when the stock shocks are such pieces of crap to start with and can't even damp the stock springs all that well.....

I'd love to sell you a set of springs. But I'd rather help you with a suspension that works right first, whether or not that involves lowering springs of any type.

Now THAT sounds good to me, Sam. So do you think the Koni SA's are a good match to these springs? My car is street/strip. 10k miles per year. Not interested in spending top dollar for an extra tenth of a second.

Put it this way: I just bought Livernois LS6 heads when I had the money for AFRs. Make sense?

Koni's are a great match for the springs, certainly. But other options exist and should be discussed, such as Revalved Bilstein's.

No way I would or could recommend anything until we speak on the phone, but don't assume you *HAVE* to use Koni's (though they are kick-*** and I use them myself). It's horses for courses, and the right shock for you might not be a Koni. That's TBD.
