Default Hal/QA1

Ive been searching and havent had too much luck finding more info on HAl/QA1 setups..

Im looking to redo my suspension... Anyone have any more info .. Id like to do HAL/qa1 coil-overs in front and just hal/qa1 shocks in back..

What springs should I run in front? Anyone have this setup? How do you like it? any suggestions would be appreciated .. how much did your setup cost ya?

thanks

what all do you do with your car? strip road race street car? I put QA1 R series on mine with 275 lb springs but mines mostly a drag car it only sees some street use.

QA1s are nice you just have to know how your driving so you get the right springs, I put the light ones on mine the 275s,there a drag spring, the 300s are about stock ride and the 325s are really stiff for cornering.

I am going to get some $400.00 for the coil over front kit with 275 springs or 300 your choice.

I just got done installing mine and love them. The only real problem i have is that the ride height in the front is way too low. I got the 275 lbs springs. They help it transfer wighgt like no other though. I need to see what i can do to get the ride height up atleast one inch though.

I was considering them but after talking to some people, they really are a drag race shock, they aren't even gas charged,I think Koni's are better for a street driven car.

I was told they are only designed for a 325 spring, because they don't have the damping ability for a 400 or bigger spring.

i have qa1's with stock springs...for the track theyre great but on the street it rides like a skate board....my suggestion if the car isnt going to see much track action go with bilsteins and the slp springs...my buddy has them on his SS....the car rides awesome and still hooks decent....1.8 short time on bfg kdw's

when i bought my car they had hal/qa1 (drag springs). the seemed normal to me. Then yesterday i swaped over to stock springs/struts. dont notice a HUGE difference but deff rides nicer and corners better.
