Question What is the Best Method for removing SFC

I need to remove my Kenny Brown SFC on my 96 Formula and was currious to know what others have done in the past to get them off. Want to do as little damage to the car and SFC as possible. I plan on reinstalling them (correctly this time) later on.

Plans are to use a thin grining disc.

Thanks!
Anthony

i used a grinder on the welds, then a right angle die grinder with discs to cleanup the car..
but i was only taking off one set to put another set on...

whats wrong with how the ones you have now were put on?

One side is too far from the pinch weld and can't be welded to it.
The installer was not comortable welding on that thin metal.
And I was not thrilled with the quality of the welds.
My plans are to finish the suspension changes, get all the alignments check out and reinstall them myself.

I had a shop remove mine, they were also Kenny Brown DD's.. The guy used an angle grinder (a real full size grinder). He took his time and no damage was done to the car or the SFC's. I was able to resell them.
