Default Sam Strano

I just wanted to say it is very very hard to come by people who take the time to help others and really do care about what there customer is getting.

I have yet to buy a part from you, but I have a freind on here that got a set of Koni yellows, and springs done by you. The ride of his car is very good, and its impressed me.

From my DSM days, and other cars ive owned it is hard to find people who are into what they do, and arent out there just for the money, but are out there for the racer and the weekend toy guy.

Thanks for helping me and others out

Sam and I have had our disagreements, but bottom line is he is here and he does help. There's a lot to be said for for vendors that take that kind of time and initiative.

I have a lot of respect for Sam. No one should take my disagreeing and/or arguing with him as a sign that I don't respect him. Not the case at all.

I've had good experiences with him as well. I recently ordered his 22mm hollow rear sway bar, but it had been a while since the last time I had ordered anything from him. I had moved from FL to OH in that time. After I placed the order, they actually called me up to make sure I was actually the same person since the credit card was the same and everything...just different address. Kinda nice that they were making sure someone didn't steal my credit card number...

Sam is #1, but he never answered my question on my front end needs based on rear suspension upgrades.

Guess I'll just have to call that rascal

Just ordered my Koni SA's today from Strano's (Arlyn). Sway bars are next. Sam won't sell you a truck-load of ****, if you don't need it. I look at that alone, as savings.

Got my front sway from him. Great customer service, and he almost always chimes in on the important questions around here. Like someone else said, it's not even to sell his stuff, it's to just share his opinion based from his years of experiance.

All my suspension/brake hardware and software stuff comes from him. Don't even bother to price check his stuff with other places, whatever he charges is fine with me. Extra service is worth whatever! He has never steered me wrong yet. I was a little apprehensive about doing just the track pad upgrade for my return to Road Atlanta track day, but brakes were not an issue at all ! Now, about my clutch . . . .

I called him last week and told him I MIGHT be ordering a set of shocks and he proceeded to spend his very valuble time in explaining everything there is about shocks.

Excellent customer service. The shocks are a done deal. And as soon as I have money for sway bars and PHR I'm calling Sam.

Everyone.... thank you. Especially Mitch, who didn't have to say a word at all.

I agree, Sam is one of the few who will give you excellent advice and not try to sell you something you do not need. He has helped me greatly with the suspension on my 99 SS.

I've read at lot of Strano's posts and traded an e-mail or two with him. I can't call (deployed, timing is difficult) but he's invested a lot of time on these boards and has given us tons of input based on experience. Because of all of your experiences, I will be ordering my suspension pieces from him.

If there is a premium for ordering from Strano, then you're undoubtedly purchasing the right to pick his brain. I look forward to the day I return home. And the first thing I'm going to do is... order a cellphone. Then I shall call Mr. Strano on that cell phone.

But really Sam, if you would just answer a few questions over e-mails I'd be more than happy to place an order now just to have it by the time I get home. Heck, I'll even pay a deposit!

Sam, you and Arlyn have done me good, and I will be doing business with you in the future...

You've been GOOD to me, and I steer folks to you as often as I can because you are GREAT!!!

I'll be calling you soon regarding higher speed stability, buying the rear Koni SA's and 22mm rear swaybar.
