required vacuum for brake booster

I am having a problem with my brakes changed out master cylinder bleed the brakes, have between 8-12# of vacuum. Is the booster bad or do i need more vacuum?

well, if you are still stock internals then it is most likely a leak or bad brake booster. I don't know the minimum vacuum you need to run a air brake system. If you are worried about it then switch to hydro boost.
