Default ABS C0035 & C0036 codes . . .

I had my abs scanned and the codes were:
c0035
c0036

At first the abs was intermittent and now is on all the time.

The tech said the front left sensor (hub) needs to be replaced as it is giving a 0 reading.

How do I know its not the wiring? would this be another code?
I want to be sure before I spend time replacing a hub.
Any ideas?
