Default LCA relocation bracket questions

Some companies make relocation brackets in a weld in or bolt on, others only make a weld in claiming it is "the only safe way." Is there something wrong with bolt ins? Also will changing the lca angle require using an adjustable torque arm?

thanks

Hello,

We have not had a problem ever with a bolt on set or have I ever seen a problem. Welding is just safer because there are no bolts to come loose or damage that can be caused when or if they do. I feel you would be fine with either the bolt-in's or weld-in's. Also they will not require an adjustable torque arm at all. I always recommend the bolt ons if you plan on changing the rear end at a later date.

Hope that helps!

the thought is, and this is consistnet with other drag racing performance parts, bolt = flex inherently built into the system

thus less flex= stiffer and better hookups and better performance

plus bolt on is usually more expensive, why not just weld on and never have to wrry about tightening bolts b4 track day
