Default Factory TA question about re-installing it

I will be going back to my factory TA from a chassis mount TA. It happened about a year ago and I did not personally do the install. I know that it connected to the transmission tailshaft. Is there a special bracket that is on the tranny that could have been taken off or is it permanently on there? Does this make sense? I have a poly TA mount, just need to know if there is something on the tranny that it goes into that could have been taken off. Thanks!

If I remember correctly, there is a clamshell bushing attached to the tailshaft that has to be unbolted. But then you are left with a bracket that is held on to the tailshaft with a stud. So I don't know if your installer left it on since you have to cut the stud to get it off. If you have the bracket still on and the clamshell, you can bolt everything back to stock.
