Only the abutment brackets. The same hose will work. The bracket is needed because the side that bolts to the adapters (or C5 spindles) is different from the Fbody, but the side with the caliper sliders are in the same position.

What's a fair price for the abutment brackets? I think I saw the part numbers before. Thanks

PN 12455799.

SDPC has them for $43 each.
GM MSRP is $54.99 each.

I'd suggest the C5 brake hoses to make sure you have enough length to turn the wheel to full lock. I think Ryan told me they have used the LS1 hoses as well, but the slightly longer C5 hoses are a safe bet. You really need the C5 PAB, the C5 calipers (they help correct the bias by using smaller pistons) and all of the hardware to go with them.

right now it looks like:

NAPA rotors: $29 x 2
Brackets: $90
C5 Abutment Brackets: $43 x 2

about $230 not incl. shipping for the brackets, plus however much a pair of hoses are...

forgive me for asking, but if i buy a complete C5 caliper assembled with pads, will it include the abutment bracket?

I have spent days using the search button to find out what all is needed for the C5 brake upgrade. I have read to use the f body calipers but then I have read to use the vette calipers. I know I will have to buy the adapter brackets, C5 rotors, I think I use the F body pads(which I don't understand at all)and different hoses.

If anyone can shoot me a PM or answer my questions or post a link to answer my question I would appreciate it. I thought I could figure out everything on my own but with it being brakes, it's not really something I want to mess up.

Thank you.

View the links right above your post!!!

I have no experience installing a conversion kit with F-body calipers. I DO have c5 calipers installed. You need the relocation brackets, C5 calipers, pads, abudment brackets, and hardware(slider pins, bolts, shims, etc). Then you MAY need slightly longer brake lines up front to fit the relocated kit. There are plenty of different companies that sell brakets and full kits. To name a few...UMI, Track brackets, Kore3. I have the UMI brackets and they work fine. Check out UI's website and you might find a list of all the parts necessary in their kit description.
