Lowering...
Recently I put on some 18 inch rims and now my car looks like a damn monster truck. It's stock height, but the 295/35/18 tire make it look a little weird. Currently, I have 295/35/18 on both tires and 275/35/18 on the front. When 3 people ride in my car, the tires rub in a turn. If I back out of my garage at a weird angle, by myself in the car, it still rubs at times. I know I need the BFH mod... I wanted the Eibach Pro Kit to lower the car about 1-1.4 inches and it would finally complete the look I want. Would the springs alone suffice? My car has 65,000 miles and the shocks still feel good. Or should I just swap out the shocks while I'm at it too? How much would I have to bang on the tire well to get the 295's to fit with a nice drop?

Those are the same size tires I run on the rear, and it didn't take much banging at all on the inner fenders to get them to fit right, and mine is lowered about 1.5" front and rear (probably a little lower in the rear). My adjustable panhard rod helped a lot, and a 4-lb sledge did the rest. I still need to get in there with a grinder and remove some material off of the front lip of the bump stop, but I'll get there all in good time.
