Question Pinion angle after adj. torque arm

What would ya'll say is the right pinion angle for me to start at with a4 d/d. I drove car yesterday after install and when i let off gas at high speed there is a loud growl. Makes me think something may be in a bind. It goes away when car speed drops below say 65 mph or it isn't as bad. Could this be that torque arm is attached to crossbrace and sfc's now? I thank -5 degrees may be to much, -2 may be better.

You dont want to go that high, stay somewhere between -2, -4.

At -2 to -4 my car would be one large vibrator over 60 mph. UMI recommended -1 to 0 for a street machine. It worked for me.

Stock angle is 0, +1. A4 and M6 will need different angles. Since you have an A4, you want to go with -1 or -2. I've played around with my angles alot. I had it at +1 recently and was experiencing vibrations as RPMs got higher. Now it's at -2 and all good.

I talked with BMR and they said -2, so today I reset from -5 to -2 really made a big difference. Ran it up to 125 mph let off the gas and no loud growl. Car even felt a little looser, did not feel as if it was binding up at all. thanks to all, Caddo

Good to hear...I set mine at about -1.5 degrees relative to the driveshaft, and it has been really good. One of these days, I'll get everything jacked up and supported so I can line everything up a little better. For now, though, it works.
