You want some kind of grease. Probably with graphite
in it. I've been using engine assembly lube, the moly /
graphite kind. Did it last winter and still no squeaks, so
a year on it anyway.

can i use the synthetic grease on rod ends too. THere appears to be two different kinds of lubes/grease. Can i just get away with using one or do i need both. ordering 600 dollars worth of suspension today, wanna make sure i get it right.

Hello,

The grease isn't needed but is recommended. If you don't buy it from us you need to at least get it somewhere. The Super Lube we sell is going to be a little more expensive but only because it is good stuff.

The grease tube is marine based grease designed to be used with a grease gun for items with grease fittings. It is a very heavy sticky grease that last a very long time and does not get washed away with water. If you get items with poly bushings this is what you would use, item # 3008

The synthetic spray is a graphite spray used on the rod ends. It drys to the rod end leaving a protective layer on them protecting them from rust and debris. We do not recommend grease on the rod ends because grease attracts dirt that will stick to them, item # 3009

Hope that helps!
Ryan
