Default bolt in vs weld in SFC

I'm at a crossing point...I really want SFC, BUT I don't want to put anything else on my firebird that I can't take off and put on my WS.6 that I will be getting in about 6 months.

So here's the deal...should I buy BOLT in SFC and then just take them off and bolt them onto the WS.6 and weld them too when I get it? Or would that be a bad idea?

Opinions please

If U R not keeping the car, I don't C the point. It isn't fun to install them, even the bolt ins.

And I agree, your Firebird looks SICK. Very nice!

6 months is long enough where you might enjoy having them on until then, but i would probably still just wait.

I'm looking at getting a set of bolt-ins as well since I have no means of welding them in... Should work the same way either way you go.

Better off welding them in place. Don't waste your time bolting them in.

Get the bolt in SFCs for the '95, then take them off, bolt them onto the WS.6, and have a shop weld them up.

You can weld on bolt-on SFCs easier than you can bolt on weld-on SFCs.

Doesn't seem like its worth it, just buy some weld-ins for the WS6 whenever you get it.

I say take that money and buy a better front sway bar and swap them when you get your new car. You will notice mor of an improvement in handling with a nice 35mm front bar.

On an unrelated note, the forum view shows this thread as having a it's last post today but the thread's last post is Jan 17 lol. Board must be having dst issues..

I've been told that bolt ins are a waste of time... But can you still weld the bolt ins?
