Default Lowering A C5

I have a 97 C5 and was wondering how I can go about Lowering the back-end of my car. Or if a company makes a kit?

There are company's that makle a kit, but you can go to your local hardware store and buy the bolt hardware you need for a few bucks instead of $40 and up.
This is what you would need to buy. Grade 8 Hex Bolt
1/2" x 6" (or longer, that is your choice)
12 7
Steel / Zinc Plated

You can get these at Home Depot, Lowes, or any Hardware Store

The car will be really low with this.

You can do it yourself and lower the car on its stock bolts to see if you like it. If you dont, you can reverse and raise the ride height.

Here's how you do it.

He pretty much covered everything. Just dont make the mistake me and a friend did and lowered it to the point of when we put the car back on the ground we couldnt get the jack from under it. Keep two 2x4 handy just incase.

Nylock nuts for the bolts would also be a good idea. One thing I also did, was to install polyurethane spring cushions.
