Default UMI Adjustable TA Problem, anyone else?

I have the tunnel mounted torque arm with the driveshaft safety loop option, I also installed the 3-point subframes(weld-in) at the same time this last weekend. The subframe install and test drive went fine, definately stiffer no noises. I installed the torque arm and now there is a ton of vibration(mainly on decel). I know that this is due to pinion angle being off but every adjustment I make doesn't seem to change the pinion angle at all.

Upon further inspection, I noticed that the pivot point bracket is hitting/resting on my driveshaft safety loop. There has been a ton of clicking/popping when I push the clutch in or out and going around turns and I am thinking this may be what's doing it. The brackets I was sent with this torque arm have 3 holes per bracket. In every one of the installed pictures of this torque arm on umi's site, the brackets are shorter and have only 2 holes per bracket. I think that if I had the 2 hole brackets, they would be short enough to clear the driveshaft safety loop.

Another question for UMI, do these bushings come greased already or do they need to be greased upon installation? How in the world are you supposed to know when to stop putting grease in?

And one more, how in the hell are you supposed to torque those pivot point bolts/nuts for 40-50lbs when it's impossible to get a torque wrench in there because of the bracket on the driveshaft safety loop?

I tried calling UMI but got the answering machine. =/

What are all the pinion angles you tried? Usually when you get the vibration on decel, the pinion angle is too far on the negative side.

For greasing, it's in the instructions. Something like 2 pumps.

Welp Jerry @ UMI was very helpful and suggested a few things for me to try:

Remove torque arm and adjust the rod ends to make the arm shorter because my bushings aren't lined up, pictured here:

So it was forcing the bracket into the driveshaft safety loop:

Or I could grind down my current bracket to clear the driveshaft safety loop.

Or they could send me their old style brackets which only had 2 holes per bracket and are shorter, rather than the new style which are 3 holes and longer. Free of charge by the way! I opted for the shorter brackets and I will probably eventually change back, I just don't want to be under that car for another few hours removing the torque arm and reinstalling it again, it's freakin freezing!

UMI's customer service was top notch, I talked to him on the phone for 10 minutes, he asked for some pictures, I got them to him 30 minutes later in an email, and he called me with the answers within 15 minutes of receiving the email. I'll definately be ordering my LCA's, panhard bar, and K-member from UMI!
