Default LT1 Owners With D/S Rotors

If you replaced your pads also, did you use oem pads or did you get a better set of pads?? I'm just wandering if the better pads will work, because I can't get my calipers to go on my new rotors with the new, thicker pads. and yes, I did compress the caliper using a c-clamp....Any other ideas??

I went with Hawk pads with D/S rotors. Try compressing it even more, I bet it's not in all the way. I did the same thing

It should fit without too much persuasion. If it doesn't, you either got the wrong pads or the wrong rotors.

I put some PFC metallic pads from autozone on my car when I did my D/S rotors. Seem to bo pretty decent, I drove it all summer with no problem and they had very low brake dust.

I think it is compressed all the way, they just won't fit with the new rotors, which are the same size as the stock ones. I took some pics, I'll post up later so maybe someone can tell me what is going on. thanks for the input!!

Is there something better to use than a c-clamp to compress the caliper??
