Default Installed 1LE Springs - Help

Re
98 Camaro

Checked part numbers on the tags and they are GM 1LE springs.
Installed the springs plus alignment at a local shop.
Raised the rear of the car over 1/4" - ****, more 4x4 action
Front height is about the same
Lots of driveline vibration and noise now. Must of changed the driveline angles. Got a slight increase in handling performance, but is it worth the downside.

Can anyone tell me if raising the car creats more negative or positive pinion angle? I suppose I can put the old spring back in. What a waist of money. Any recommendations appreciated.

Thanks JA

Give it a little time to settle. The car should go back to stock height.

I would try reorienting the rear springs by turning them so the bottom 'tail' of the spring is in a different position. Just mark where you have them now and turn it like 90° and see what happens. Make sure they're seated in the isolator properly too.

Hi
Thanks for the input.

Time to Settle: Yes, I will give it some time to settle before I do anything drastic like change back. I was thinking I might weigh the rear down to lower it back 1/4", and then drive it to see if the vibration disapears. This might be a way to confirm if the pinion angle has been changed.

Check shocks: I have Koni SA front and back and they are fairly new.

Reorienting Springs. As far as I can tell the tails (hight parts) are rear which is the correct way. As I do not have a jack and set of jack stands I can not tell if rotating will help. I sounds like a good idea. I will have to get some help to do it.

Thanks JA
