Default Can you hook on the street?

I want to hook on the street. I can hooks for ****. I was wondering if anyone was will to shed some light on their setup if it hooks on the street. the car should make close to 600rwhp.

get a torque arm, control arms, and relocation brackets with some ET streets and youll hook up!

i got the cheapest tires ever on the abck of the t/a and blow them off at like 1/4 throttle

what do they say on the sidewall?

because i had a set of tires in the front when i bought my car. no name at all on the sidewall. i put them on the back, and they hooked ungodly well. even when they were bald they still hooked.

Not a chance in first, if I'm rolling and I punch it. 2nd gear depends on road surface and temperature.

For 600rwhp on the street, the only tire you should be looking at is mickey thompson drag radials.

Looks like Hankooks in your picture. The pattern doesn't look bad to me. Same tires here.

i got fuzion ZRi's on the front i still got the same cheap *** noes on the back until i get the other fuzions put on

With 600rwhp, good luck hooking on the street. Any street tire will go up in smoke, unless it's an ET street or a BFG/MT drag radial that you've heated up.

I got Nitto 555R in 315/35R17s. They hook on a 3rd gear roll but on a 1st or second gear roll or a clutch dump, I light them up. Now If I heat them up first and then go from a dig then I can get some traction but nothing like a set of ET streets.
